Dr Ruth Ogden
I am a PhD student in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Manchester. I began my PhD in September 2005 under the supervision of Dr. Luke Jones after completing my BSc in Psychology at the University of Manchester in 2005.
My thesis is focussed on the functioning of the reference memory component of SET (scalar expectancy theory). Specifically, I am looking at the effects of interference and delay on task performance.
I am currently investigating the effects of interference in reference memory.
-NEWS UPDATE- Ruth Ogden has now completed her thesis and passed her PhD Viva (external examiner: Dr Teresa McCormack). Ruth is now working as a postdoctoral researcher at Liverpool John Moore's University but is still very actively involved with timing research both here in Manchester and in Liverpool
